Welcome to Windswept Acres Website. We are located in the northeast corner of the state of Tennessee near the Smokey Mountains and not too far from the Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky borders. It's a gorgeous area rich in green pastures, rolling hills, rivers and lakes - an ideal climate and environment to raise our miniature horses. Our farm prides itself on breeding quality not quantity. We strive to breed exceptional minis with fluid like movement, refinement, good temperament, and beauty. Each of them is raised with love, patience, and good country living. We place our horses where they will be treated with the same love, kindness and respect. Our miniatures are registered with AMHA. Our mares and stallions come from bloodlines which represent the best in the miniature horse industry. Bloodlines include Egyptian King, FWF Blue Boy, Bond, Gold Melody Boy, Dippers Duffy, Roan Ranger, Komoko. Our breeding stock come from national champions, reserve champions and producers of champions. If you are looking for your first mini, a show mini or an addition to enhance your present breeding program, we welcome your inquiries. We feel that our minis are priced so that everyone has an opportunity to experience and enrich their lives with these adorable and personable horses.
